ADMISSION PROCEDURE
Asia-Pacific Institute of
Management Studies (AIMS) invites you to participate
in the selection process for admission in the Post-Graduate
Programme in Management. Admissions are open for the
2010-12 batch.
ELIGIBILITY
All aspiring candidates must
be a Graduate/Post graduate in any stream including
engineering or equivalent in any discipline from a
recognized Indian or foreign University. Candidates
appearing in the final degree examination by June
2010 may also apply.
EGISTRATION
PROCEDURE
To qualify for the short-listing
process you are required to procure the prospectus
and application form from Admission Office of the
Institute.
- Either by cash, Rs. 1200/-
or by sending a non-refundable crossed DD of Rs.
1250/-. The DD should be drawn in favour of “ASIA-PACIFIC
INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT STUDIES”
payable at NEW DELHI or
- Alternatively, you can download
the application form from our website
www.asiapacific.edu.in
and submit it along with DD
of Rs 1250/-drawn in favour
of “ASIA-PACIFIC INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT
STUDIES” payable at NEW DELHI to
our Admission Office.
- Please attach 5 copies of
your recent passport size colour photograph and
attested Photocopies of all the mark sheets from
10th onwards, certificates and the valid CAT/ MAT/
XAT or any other state eligibility test score card
along with the application form.
Dual Qualification
Option
The students enrolling for PGPM
shall have an option to simultaneously do an MBA in
distance mode from one of the UGC recognized universities;
namely either Punjab Technical University or Pondicherry
University (a Central University).
Bank Loans
AIMS has tie up with
HDFC Bank, Punjab National Bank, & Indian Bank
for the educational loan for the PGPM programme. This
educational loan facility will be available on All
India basis at all the branches of the banks, subject
to fulfillment of bank’s norms & conditions.
SELECTION PROCESS
The selection process will be
Group Discussion followed by Personal Interview by
the interview board.
1. Written test:
Candidates will have to appear
in any of the following:
- CAT/ MAT/ XAT/GMAT/ATMA/CMAT
- AIMS Aptitute Test conducted
at AIMS.
2. Group
Discussion and Personal interview:
Candidates who qualify in the
written test will be called for a group discussion
and personal interview. The final selection will be
based on candidate's overall performance in the written
test, group discussion, personal interview and past
academic record.
