Ever evolving complexity of today's industry and business requires inter-dependence of roles and need to work in groups and desired behavior and attitude in inter - personal relationships so as to ensure group and team synergy.
Because, only knowledge and skills are no guarantee for successful achievement of goals and objectives, their deployment in the desired manner with the requisite values, behavior, attitude, motives etc. is a critical factor.
So, factoring their personality traits in induction, fitment to a role and development of individuals becomes very important requirement for successful achievement.
Having realized this, we have established a 'Personality Assessment and Development Center' - A Psychometric Testing Laboratory, comprehensively equipped with instruments such as MBTI, 16PF, FIRO-B, SIS, SEA, LEA, MCrS, LES, TES, EIS, WMQ, JSI, OCS etc. ;provides services of administering various tests.
The center is managed by a well-qualified, experienced and certified Psychologists who, along with support and help from well known senior professionals from Academia and Industry, ensure proper and well-validated interpretation of results of the tests bringing out gaps between the desired and existing personality traits and providing developmental inputs through one to one counseling as well as relevant Group Programmes.
Longitudinal profiling is done through continual and regular administration of the requisite tests and assessing the impact of the Counseling and the Developmental inputs.
We also have the mission of taking forward this initiative to the Industry and Business through audits, evaluations and interventions customized to the specific needs of the organizations and influencing their behavior and through that the Organizational Effectiveness.
Personality Development
To assist students fit in the global corporate culture, the Institute lays special emphasis on personality grooming through presentations, public speaking, mock interviews, aptitude tests and industry interactions. This helps the students to develop capacity for analysis and judgment, ability to relate to managerial problems and draw upon their own resources for better understanding and meaningful action. Students, therefore, are groomed to join the industry not as a mere Job earner, but to influence its practices, and in the long run become an active participant in reshaping the nation's destiny. To facilitate the process, the Institute provides for a mentoring programme and also organizes a range of activities throughout the year under its various cells and clubs.
