Experience:
She has a teaching experience of three and a half academic sessions in Post Graduate Department of Commerce, Hindu College, Amritsar and is currently working since August, 2008 as a Lecturer (Finance) in Asia Pacific Institute of Management studies. She had her schooling from a noted institution of New Delhi and secured her graduation post graduation and Doctorate from Guru Nanak Dev University , Amritsar which is a five star accredited University. She has research experience of more than four years . Recently the senate of Guru Nanak Dev University has conferred upon her the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in the faculty of Economics and Business (Commerce). Her research topic was “Managing the conflict between economic development and ecological degradation in India.

Research and publications:

She has to her credit co-edited research book titled, “Environmental Education”, Regal Publishers, Rajouri Garden, New Delhi. Her research articles have appeared in journals of national repute. Has participated and presented papers in various national conferences and seminars. She also participated as a delegate at Delhi Sustainable Development Summit, 2007, organized by Tata Energy and Resources Institute on 22-24 January 2007 at Habitat Centre, Lodhi Road, New Delhi and was autographed by eminent figures HE Ms. Tarja Halonen, President of Finland, HE Mr. Kjell MagneBondevik, Former Prime Minister of Norway, HE Mr. Mamadou Lamine loum, Former Prime Minister of Senegal, Mr. Montek Singh Ahluwalia, Deputy Chairman, Planning Commission, India, Prof. Jeffrey D.
