as Chief Operating Officer of HMT Machine
Tools Ltd. having 9 manufacturing units
in 5 states (responsible for the total
operations of the company i.e. Operations
Management, Technology, R&D, Quality,
Marketing, Finance and Human Resources
for profitability and growth of the company),
General Manager of Ajmer Machine Tool
Unit, General Manager of Hyderabad Press
Unit and 17 years in Senior Management
positions as Head of Department of Operations.
He has been member
Governing Council of Central Manufacturing
Technology Institute (CMTI) and Executive
Committee Member of Indian Machine Tool
Manufacturers’ Association (IMTMA).
He is a member of several professional
bodies like All India Management Association,
Indian Institute of Industrial Engineering,
Institution of Engineers, India, Chartered
Engineer (India) and life member of Ajmer
Engineers Institution.
He has visited
various factories in Italy, Switzerland,
U.K., and Japan for business discussions,
joint working, outsourcing of equipments
and services.
He has now moved
to Academics for the last two years. He
is Area Head Operations and Programme
Director at Asia Pacific Institute of
Management Studies.
