Post Graduate Programme in Management [PGPM]

The two-year Post-Graduate Programme in Management has been designed to bring excellence in the field of management education. The PGPM programme at AIMS nurtures world-class managers by exposing them to experiential simulation exercises along with analytical tools and bench-marked business practices. Students gain conceptual knowledge and interpersonal skills while fine-tuning on the social purpose in managerial decision-making.

The fast pace of changes has brought out the need to give a fresh look to traditional methods of establishing and managing business. Understanding these changes has been both crucial and critical to the success of the practicing manager. AIMS is alive to the emerging challenges by designing the course content to be contemporary.

The course imparts knowledge and fosters attitudes essential for the growth of students into competent, responsible managers.

A stimulating pedagogy and use of variety of learning tools like role-play, case study, simulation, project-work, field experience, assignment, quiz, seminars, industry visits help to develop analytical judgement and presentation skills. Writing and publication of articles, features and presentations, at various forums including leading national dailies and journals and in-house publications, workshops and seminars are also encouraged as part of teaching- learning environment.
