Centre for Corporate Relations
The Centre for Corporate Relations, an innovative and unique concept for a management institute, has been set up with an objective of bringing industry and academia close to each other. CCR is a nodal centre which act as a resource centre for faculty, students and Industry. In addition to organizing Management Development Programs, Consultancy, Research and In-company Training Programs, Industry visits, guest lectures, CEOs Forum, Quizes, Corporate get-togethers, Alumni interaction etc. CCR actively involves students in various activities to develop the Participative Managerial Effectiveness. CCR also helps students by counselling them to choose an appropriate career depending on their aptitude and interest. It helps the students in finding, appropriate summer project and final placements. Students actively participate in formulating strategies for various events, industry summer and final placements. They, then closely work with CCR in securing placement for all students. The placement activity is entirely managed by the students under the guidance of faculty and CCR Team.
Placement is the sole responsibility of students which is organized by the Students Placement Committee. CCR and Faculty Committee facilitate and provide the guidance to the students. Following are various activities where students are actively involved and take complete responsibility:
- Design & Printing of Placement Brochure
- Developing & executing the Placement strategy
- Conducting Recruitment Survey
- Interaction with Past Recruiters
- Interaction with Potential Recruiters.
- Interaction with Recruiters of other B-Schools
- Placement Presentation at various companies.
- Organising the Career Counselling session by experts.
- Organising Resume Writing, GD and Interviews skills development Sessions
- Maintaining student Resume Bank
- Developing and maintaining Corporate Database.
- Allocation of companies to. students groups
- Coordinating all the activities related to Placement
Industry Interaction
Continuous interaction with the industry helps students to build the strong relationship with the industry professionals. This also helps students to understand the corporate world better and develop themselves as per the industry needs. The industry interaction may be organized by Students CCR Committee in following forms:

Guest Lectures
Asia Pacific Institute of Management Studies gives lot of emphasis on having close interaction with industry professionals through experience sharing on regular basis. Students CCR Committee is responsible for organizing weekly industry interaction under the guidance of CCR department and the team through:

- CEOs Forum
Students take complete responsibility right from identifying the topic, speakers, inviting the speakers, receiving the speakers, notifying the students and faculty, ensuring proper decorum etc.
Industry Visits
In order to have better understanding of management, a number of industry visits are organized for students in consultation with concerned faculty. Students identify the companies as per the course need of the concerned faculty. Following are decided before students visit the company:
- Company name
- No. of students visiting the industry
Students will either submit the report or make a presentation.
MDPs, Seminars/ Conferences:
Students are also encouraged to help faculty members for MDPs, seminars and conferences.
