Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) is a precursor to MCA as well as other Post Graduate Management Programmes. BCA is a full time three years graduate degree program, which is designed to develop Techno-managerial capabilities.
Asia-Pacific Institute of Management Studies (AIMS) offers Bachelor of Computer Applications ( BCA) in affiliation with Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. Established In 1969, Guru Nanak Dev University is reckoned today amongst the top 10 universities of India. National Assesment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), an autonomous institution of the UGC accredited the University at the Five Star Level. The Program covers basics of both management and technology. It also has projects for developing full software in various software languages in real time environment. The programme prepares the students to undertake Master programs and for designing business application software for the organisations.

At the end of the second year, each student will be required to undergo compulsory practical training for about 6-8 weeks in some industrial organization and will have to submit a report thereof. The project report will be evaluated as Satisfactory /Unsatisfactory.

Rs. 10,000/- refundable security deposit to be paid with Ist Installment fee.
Eligibility
10+2 with at least 40% marks in aggregate from any recognized Indian board or International examination system recognized as equivalent there to by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar.
Selection Process
The selection of the students is based on the written test followed by a Personal Interview. Analytical capabilities, communication skills and desire to excel shall receive weightage in admission.
Application Procedure
The Prospectus and Application form can be obtained from the Admission Office on cash payment of Rs. 1200/- and an additional amount of Rs. 50 has to be included in case of demand draft in favour of “ Asia-Pacific Institute of Management Studies” payable at New Delhi.
Alternatively, interested applicants can download the Application Form and send the same duly completed, in all respect, along with required documents and the application fee either by cash/D.D.
