Asia - Pacific Institute of Management Studies (AIMS) offers Bachelor of Business Administration ( BBA) in affiliation with Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. Established in 1969, Guru Nanak Dev University is reckoned today amongst the top 10 universities of India. National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), an autonomous institution of the UGC accredited the University at the Five Star Level. “It is proud of its tradition but is never bound to it”, Guru Nanak Dev University is known to encourage students to push their intellectual capacities to the limit.

AIMS has enriched the BBA programme with three more discretionary streams-Foreign Language (French), Personality Development and Internet and E-Commerce for which separate certificates will be issued by the Institute besides BBA degree from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar.

BBA is a 3 years full-time course. The Course is intended to impart theoretical as well as practical knowledge of domestic and international business and focuses on overall personality development.

At the end of the second year, each student will be organization and will have to submit a report required to undergo compulsory practical training about 6-8 weeks in some industrial organization and will have to submit a report there of. The project report will be evaluated as for Satisfactory /Unsatisfactory.

Eligibility

10+2 with at least 40% marks in aggregate from any recognized Indian board or International examination system recognized as equivalent thereto by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar.

Selection Process

The selection of the students is based on the written test followed by a Personal Interview. Analytical capabilities, communication skills and desire to excel shall receive weightage in admission.

Application Procedure

The Prospectus and Application form can be obtained form the Admission Office on cash payment of Rs. 1200/- and an additional amount of Rs. 50 has to be included in case of demand draft in favour of “ Asia-Pacific Institute of Management Studies” payable at New Delhi.
